How a virtual visit works
Easily consult a neurologist right from your home
The aim of a virtual visit is to deliver neurological care remotely, using digital communication technologies to connect patients, clinicians, and sometimes ancillary staff.

Scheduling & Preparation
Before a virtual consultation, patients should contact Dr César to give the reason for the consultation and a brief medical history. Additionally, they might need to undergo specific pre-consultation tests, such as diagnostic imaging or neurophysiological assessments, if necessary. Patients should have a stable internet and a quiet, private space for the consultation to maintain confidentiality and effectiveness. They should also prepare a list of questions or concerns to discuss with the neurologist, ensuring all relevant information is covered.
During the Virtual Consultation
During virtual consultations, patients and neurologists connect via secure video platforms. The neurologist reviews symptoms, medical history, and test results, and may perform remote examinations like assessing motor skills or coordination based on patient feedback. Patients should be prepared to describe their symptoms in detail, including the onset, progression, and factors that affect them. Patients should actively engage by asking questions and seeking clarification about their condition or treatment plan.
Post-Consultation and Follow-ups
After the consultation, the neurologist might suggest further tests, prescribe medications, or recommend lifestyle changes. They may also provide a detailed report summarising the consultation and proposed treatment plan. Patients should carefully follow the neurologist’s advice after the appointment, including taking medications as prescribed, attending follow-up appointments, and implementing any suggested lifestyle adjustments.
